July 2024
I am delighted to be speaking at the Acme Propellor Factory launch and open studios on Friday 12 July. Alongside Justine Simons, Deputy Mayor for Culture and Creative Industries and David Surman, a long-term Acme based artist, I will highlight the relevance of their Studio Awards Programme and the continued need for affordable studios in London as part of their 18-month campaign to save the factory.
This connects my past life as an artist and Studio Awardee at this very site in 2012 to my recent advisory work with Genesis Foundation in 2021 enabling Acme to establish the Alternative Pathway Awards.

April 2024
I will be presenting and participating in Mapping Afropolitan Imaginaries, a day-long programme with curators, architects, designers and writers to reflect on our practices through an Afropolitan lens and to work on a definition or guiding principles around the term Afropolitan and its contexts to London; who is making the city, what is the source of its energy and what is its cultural kudos?
My presentation will touch upon transnational ways of being and work across Britain and Ghana.
